Lov & Data is the Nordic region’s leading publication on law and information technology. Its purpose, as articulated by Knut S. Selmer in 1984, is to enable readers to develop an independent and informed perspective on the field. The journal covers legal areas including data protection and privacy, intellectual property law, and IT contracts, as well as articles with a stronger focus on technology. Lov & Data helps readers navigate legal and technological issues in a field that is evolving rapidly. Lov & Data also serves as the membership publication for Norsk forening for Jus og EDB, Dansk forening for Persondataret, Danske IT-advokater, Svenska föreningen för IT och juridik, and the Finnish IT Law Association.
